ESS Supercharged E90 M3 vs JB4 F80 M3

I had a great time at Shift-S3ctor Airstrip Attack 7 this weekend out at the Coalinga Municipal Airport. Great times with great people and some AMAZING cars. As far as I know, this is the world's first supercharged e9x vs a tuned f8x m3/4. Our first race was extremely close and I will post the footage as soon as I go through the GoPro footage (hopefully tonight or early tomorrow). This video was taken from my iPhone by my passenger.

My E90 - ESS VT2-625 SC, Akra GT4, 100/91 oct blend
F80 - Catless downpipes, Akra Exhaust, JB4 Map 7, 100/91 oct blend

What mods are on your car? Nice race there. Goes to show the e9x platform can still keep up with the best of them.

i won't start "this" conversation, but it's not the e9x platform keeping up.

it's more along the lines of a blower helping it.

The new Ms are really quick--glad to see a SC E9X able to put a bit on a new tuned M.

Trying to resist the urge to SC my car... lol

And a JB4 to help the F80 mind you. It was definitely a solid pull and you were continuing to pull on him. Great run!

Correct, both of our cars were running a blend of 100 and 91 from the pump. The car does have downpipes, full Akra, and jb4 map 7. Will update my initial post. Our first run was so close I would call it a tie, but after that there wasn't another close race.

To agree with your point, I'm sure we would both have been smoked by a couple of the turbo e46 m3s that were there.

It was pretty wind out there and my highest was about 146mph with my Awron gauge showing 158 as my fastest (when I would actually check)

Thanks! Nothing like having your car sound as beastly as it performs haha. The GT4 sounds so quiet to me after hearing all of the 1000-2000hp cars running out there. Fastest trap of the day was 229.xx mph by a UGR twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo.
