OP. The close up pic looks like Anthracite has a serious green hint to them; I thought they were more charcoal looking?

What's your opinion of Anthracite on my SSII? Clash or good?

I just saw you on 2nd and Brannan. I was in my 328i, so you probably paid me no heed, but the wheels look so much better in person than they do in the pictures. Your color looks great.

No green in them at all, a touch of bronze/copper though.

Thanks. Too bad it was at night though - I think the color of the wheel looks best in bright daylight.

I've been meaning to take some better pics, but haven't gotten around to it. Unfortunately, rain is in the forecast for the next week, but once the weather clears up I'll give it a proper wash and try to take some better pics.

Anthracite has a lot of depth and the color looks a different in different lighting, but I haven't noticed any hint of green in-person. It must be the camera, if anything.

Honestly, I'm not sure Anthracite will work with SSII. I would probably go with Silver or Brushed Silver.

Have you thought of using black and white center caps?
I have Anthracite RG63s too, and have the OEM caps like you. I think they will look better with black and white caps.

Actually I have thought about it and was just looking for the right set. I've found two different types so far, one made with real carbon fiber inserts, another one that is just black and white....

I don't want the old style with the chrome ring.
I found a few, but they want a lot for them. I might just try the sickers.
