Congrats! What interior trim did you choose? I would say about 2 weeks, that's how long it took me but with the launch passed and production ramped up it must be significantly less.

it all depends on your build week. it could take days, it could take weeks. call your dealer and ask.

Sorry I meant like the carbon fiber leather, brushed aluminum, SA wood or titanium shadow

You can ask your CA or call the 800 number for an update on production status. My car was ordered on 2/21/08 and the production date has moved around a bit. On the Owners Circle portion of the BMW website, you can track your order but OC is a few days behind what your CA or the 800 number can give you. With M-DCT and 19" wheels, there are limited production spots it seems for a couple of months.

Thanks.

I went with Carbon Fiber Trim.

I'll call and find out to see if there are more details. It looks like the dealer modified an existing order to match what I wanted. Any reason to think they will build it faster? Maybe I can get in on the limited production run of M-DCT.. at least that's what I'm hoping for.

I was told by my SA that M-DCT wouldn't be built until May too.. he heard that from the owner of the dealership and didn't believe they are getting built even after showing them that people in this thread are getting some built... Hopefully I'll get a production week these next few days.

Did your 19s show up in the Order detail on the web page? Mine doesn't show the 19's.. I'm going to get a copy of the order that was entered into the system tomorrow to double check.

Mine started as a week 19 build (May) but was a week 15 build earlier this week when I called. There have been a number of posts about build dates moving back and forth so I've decided to stop checking for a while.

All my options (M-DCT, tech, prem, various audio things, sunshade, PDC) show up on OC except the 19" wheels. It's on my signed order sheet so I'm not worried as others have noted the same.

The wait continues....

Congrats. I'm also glad to hear this as it makes it more likely that my M-DCT coupe with 19" wheels will stay at week 15 (April).
