My new winter beater :)

i needed a car that was AWD
and i've wanted a cabrio for a while now
so why not get both in one car

i kinda missed the sound of a V8

but this V8 sounds like what the M3 should have sounded stock
a nice deep rumble

i'm missing all 4 center caps
i still have 4 BMW ones from my 2008 M3

Cabrio for winter? Why didn't you just go for a Murano 'vert?

Good point. Maybe it was a great deal. Ps I don't see any snow in th pic. I drive my m as much as I can. When the snow hits then I take the suv. Until the roads are cleared. It's hard to have the m sitting in the driveway and not wanting to drive it.

v8 convertible. i know it will not be an Audi as he previously had audi and did not like it. plus they don't have v8 convertibles. it could be e550 convertible with 4matic. I don't know what it could be, please tell us Karim.

it was a fantastic deal
$1 away from a 4 digit number

when the snow hits you take the SUV
in my case the SUV belongs to the mrs

she has the X3
so when it does snow
last time it took me 1.5 hours to get our of our neighborhood in my E30 M3
so i decided instead of wasting time with a winter wheel/tire seyp
i'd just get a car that can handle the snow
and the facy that it's a convertible also means its nice to drive in the summer

well um...i do hate audi
but it is an audi

i remember now why i hate them so much
great car, great engine
totally lifeless steering
its as if the steering is not connected to the tires
you turn, and you get 0 feedback

what i can tell you is that i'd never buy a mercedes

i was telling my wife
the minute i buy this car, we won't get any more snow this winter
just like last year when i bought my winter wheels and tires
we had like 0.5" snow one day and that was it
murphys winter law

that's why i didn't want to buy a regular sedan
at least this way when the weather starts warming
i can put the top down
and if we do have a freak snow storm in summer
i'm all set

K, just giving you a hard time. I happen to dislike SUVs as well, yet my daily / winter beater is an RX hybrid - aside from the practical and comfort considerations that it does very well, it lets me keep my hybrid plates that are invaluable with the area's traffic.

Everything has been done on time
At an audi dealer
So I know it's been taken care of
Suspension is tight
Need new sparkplugs, and coils
I'll do that and an oil change and take it from there

I'm lucky that my commute doesn't need 267 or 66

I take route 7 then I turn left on towlston and use back roads to get to McLean
No traffic, and more importantly, no cops

I'm jealous you have the back roads of Great Falls / Mclean as your daily commute. That's like driving to Cars & Coffee everyday! Aside from the wonderful twisties, there's great scenery.
