IPE F1 exhaust vs Meisterschaft GT2 Ti exhaust

Do you guys think its worth spending an extra $3-4K on the IPE F1 exhaust? What's the weight and power advantage over the GT2 if any? Or is it just more expensive because its a valvetronic exhaust?

I think it is worth it, sounds awesome. I just dropped my Akra and bought the Kreiseigg valuetronic - 7500k for the muffler lol.

I think the meisterschaft sounds much more exotic/f1 pitched than the ipe which is just raspy and plain loud (more or less like a straight pipe)

Seven thousand five hundred thousand is a lot for the muffler!
Even if it was 7500, why so much? Even with the titanium tips, it shouldn't be that much.

+1...IPE quality is absolute garbage...especially when you consider the price. Plus, its way too raspy sounding.

Curious why you think its a rip off of Eisenmann? Issue from a couple years aside...Meister is a completely different design, has a completely different sound, is probably close to my past eisenmann race in terms of quality and is at a lower price point.
My Eisenmann race was nice but droned like crazy and was extremely heavy. I loved the sound but it was far from perfect and very different in every way from my friends Meisterschaft.

I agree it was very shady business to do what they did, but I still dont see them as direct copies. The designs are entirely different as is almost every aspect of the exhausts if you were to compare side by side.

LOL
Couldn't be further from the truth. The quality is quite good. With the exception of very few such as Eisenmann and Akrapovic, it's better than most out there.
Someone stated they had a friend with a cracked x pipe from IPE, but I've not yet seen a failure personally.

I saw the x pipe he was referring to. It literally cracked and had a hole in it.

its not just the eisenmann's they copied, they were the US distributor for kreissieg japan, but kreissieg cut the lines with them after finding out that meister was coping the kreissieg lambo exhaust design.....

Never ordered an F1 x pipe as they appear to impede flow, maybe there's a weak spot in those. That being said, a failure of one in MANY is not uncommon. This is the only failure I've heard of.
We have several customers out there with systems that see frequent track use and lots of heat cycling with no issues. My personal E92 has an IPE system with over 20K miles and a few track events with zero issues. Either way, the systems themselves are far from garbage or I wouldn't have one on my car.

Maybe a bit hyperbolic to say 'garbage' but Ive had Akra Evo and for the price IPE is, its nowhere the quality of the Akra and shouldnt be anywhere close to that price especially since its not made of exotic material either.

Alot of muffler in deed! The tits are not titanium. It costs what it costs lol. I had Kreseigg make me a custom one-off pair of tips. Shipping from Japan is not cheap either. It is build-to-order so I will post some videos up in 6-8 weeks

What kind of tips? Is it the same trumpet tips as MartinD? Those are the only other tips I have seen on a kreissieg. If they are the tips then I understand the price. I have a kreissieg sitting in my garage, but havent put it on yet due to the fact that I actually dont like the normal tip design.
What mid section are you pairing it with?
