19" M3 wheels refinished in Limited Edition Black
I have a spare set of OEM 19" alloys that I'm thinking of getting refinished in the same black as used on the Limited edition M3s.
Has anyone had this done..if so by who? |

Remember you'll need to find a coater who can do diamond cut wheels (presuming they are the same as mine where) |

Thanks...I ended up leaving them at a local place in Coventry (Wheels UK) to get what looks like a similar satin matt black finish to KadeSdad. Costing £60 a wheel to correct some minor curb rash and powder coat the wheels.
Spent quite a long time there looking around and watched him powdercoat a set of wheel, seems like he knows what he is doing although the place could do with a bit of a tidy up...fingers crossed he makes a decent job of it. |

Got the wheels back and I'm very pleased with them...there are some minor imperfections but you really have to get close to find them.
They ended up at about a mid gloss (60%) finish which is absolutely what I wanted. I've attached a photo (I hope). |

question, when you had your wheels done did they say that they were chrome finish on it or was it something else?

It was £240 to remove some light kerb rash and powdercoat in semi gloss black...they can do a full gloss black if you prefer.
http://www.wheels.uk.com/ did the job and I'm more than happy with the result although if you want perfection then maybe you should try http://www.lepsons.com/ |
