Race/bucket seat installation driver side - coding?

Hi all

wondering what needs to be done to properly install a drivers side (only) race bucket in terms of coding (occupancy emulation, airbags, etc). if anyone knows, please let me know

Occupancy is only detected in passenger seat, car assumes there is a driver when its moving.

Coding is required to remove airbag monitoring (seats only), as well as seatbelt receptacle if you are using harnesses.

I won't code remotely, but you should be able to find someone in your area to do so.

This only takes about ~5min, so one does not need to charge abnormally for this service.

Basically we send you our software package and equipment. Once you have everything installed onto a laptop with a good internet connection, we can remotely code the car online.

Sorry to thread jack, but my concern over going with some bucket seats is losing the airbag while driving on the street. Wonder if there are any negative impacts on insurance (and safety) if someone hits me and I had the seat airbags removed?

absolutely. If you get hurt, and the insruance company finds out you disabled a factory working airbag then they have the right to deny the claim (at least the medical part)
