I am looking for a cat back/axle back titanium exhaust for my 08 E92 M3. Exhaust which is not too loud. What do you recommend? Thank you.

Got the Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust system on our project e92 M3 and it sounds amazing, with no drone at all!
We're local to you too, in Anaheim, so come on by to hear it in person |

I have been using RPI axle back for almost a year now and it is getting too loud for me. Akra and vanguard owners, are you guys using stock pipes or using cat delete pipes?
Thank you. |

I also have the RPI axle back right now, i think it sound better than the akra evo system. I was in one yesterday, we took a quick drive and the exhaust was really quiet, almost like OEM. During ideal, it sound same as the RPI and during mid to high rpm range the engine noise took over the exhaust sound. It has no drone but it's too quiet for my taste

it's hard to get no drone on an aftermarket exhaust, but the akro evo's got it right.

FFS, I know...does no one ever do this anymore?
And anyways, drone is purely subjective. To some, even Akrapovic drones....hell, I've even heard some people complaining about how the OEM exhaust drones.... Maybe get the Innotech, at least that thing has valves, so you can close it when you want it more quiet. Why so fixated on titanium? |

I want a quieter and lighter muffler now. That is why I am looking for titanium. I think RPI is a great system but I am growing out of my RPI. I have to check out Akra at EAS and I want to hear Vanguard also.
