Brilliant, I'm doing that this afternoon. Only one driver on my car.

Hey guys, I'm buying a 2011 e92 M3 tomorrow but the passenger side mirror does not tilt when in reverse regardless of the switch position. Is it because the car does not have premium package? No power folding mirrors, no power seats, and no HomeLink. Or is this a code that can be programmed?

Thanks,
Benny

If you have a 2011.5 e92 M3 and do not have the Premium package you do not get the passenger side auto tilting side mirror. SUCKS!! http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=476722

The seat memory module also controls the mirror memory. It's been that way for a long time with BMW

Another example of how this great forum saved me time and aggravation (such as actually reading the car's manual).

My E46 ZHP did (opposite drives side mirror only). Check to make sure your door switch is on the drives side while the car is in reverse for it to work.

I know this is a dated thread, but I want to thank you all for this information. As someone else said earlier, finding this information on the forum (after my first try at searching) is just the bee's knees.

If I had to check with the dealer or some other source, I don't know when I could have found time to track down this little item.

Great forum.
