Very well said.

Additionally, if Vorsteiner has to expend a "massive" amount of R&D (presumably justifying a high price) to develop something that is easily copied then it's a bad investment to begin with as the IP was easily replicated.

The fundamental problem Vorsteiner has is their products are easily copied and their pricing strategy presumes they are not. Maybe they would have sold twice as many lips at half the price to get to the same ROI. Now their short-sightedness in their pricing strategy has alienated a sizeable portion of their target market making it easy for someone else to come in and take share.

Just my $0.02....

vorst products are overpriced, i posted this before but noone really noticed. It costs vorst about 100-150 to make a front lip. The reason why they could sell it for 1000 is due to exclusitivity and demand. What most people dont know is that these replicas are made exactly in the same fashion and materials as the brandrd item.

In the end.. Your paying a extra 600+ just for the name brand.

Dear jl-motoring-com,

Do you have the Vorsteiner Replica in stock also? I have an E90 M3 and I'm looking for the Vorsteiner lip and rear diffuser. Are you making a diffuser for the E90 M3 sedan yet?

Thanks. Saw your product on M3Post.com! Nice!

For some weird reason the price's less expensive if you buy directly from their website so just do that once you verify it's in stock.

A response from the seller on availability....

"we have v style front lip for E90 m3, but we do not have rear diffuser for E90 m3. we will have lips in stock next 10~14 days. due to high demand of the front lip, we will recommend you to put $100 refundable deposit first.
if you have other questions, please let me know."
