Thanks for the info & link!

Okay, will be stopping by my local Crappy Tire tomorrow.

Just to make sure no one gets lost ... :D

Some of you may be using your GPS and be guided by that friendly voice (rather then looking at maps and ending up in a mishap). To that end I've printed three maps with directions here for myself.

I find that the GPS can be quite suborn at times so if you enter the three different destinations (per maps below) all should work out fine to take you direct to the resaurant "County Cider Company & Estate Winery" for lunch in case you fall behind or get ahead of anyone

(Once trying to get back from Boston to London, my GPS played tricks on me taking me the long way, I overcame this by entering destinations in piece mail I'm sure your GPS played tricks on you before too)

Here are the three maps I've prepared (plus a final bonus map of the final; destination). Drive safely everyone we see you there.

FINAL RESTAURANT ADDRESS FOR YOUR GPS

County Cider Company & Estate Winery
657 Bongards X RD
County Road 8, RR 4
Picton, Ontario

Just in case anyone has Mobile GPS's I spent the last hour tracking this route via google maps (hybrid mode) and it is awesome. If anyone is interested I can export the map to your compatible GPS device and you can load the route on it.

Check out the Cruise Map
as well; I think you can also export this one; Added County Cider as a WayPoint

Since I dont have Navi in my car; I use my iPhone so I saved it to my app (Navigon) for future references; Alternatively, if you are interested in manually updating this into your GPS, below are the coordinates.

Thanks for doing this it is very cool indeed. How would you export this route so one could import it into the BMW Navi?

Cheers, Rolf

I've seen this a while back in a demo or some sort I believe you need BMW Online Assist and Google Maps; When you are done developing your map with google, you then you send it to them using your BMW Online Account and they will send it your car and you accept it.

Route Transfer using BMW Online

Trip sounds like a great idea. I live in Prince Edward County. The County Cider House is a great spot for lunch, but I'm not sure it's open until the Victoria Day Weekend for food. You may want to check. Although many of the wineries may be open, not sure any of them will have their lunch setup open yet. Your best bet is to stop somewhere in Picton for a bite to eat. You guys are going to have a great time, I wish I could join you but I'm on call/working this weekend.

If you guys want to eat at a winery, can try the Waupoos Winery, I'm pretty sure they have their lunch setup operational. It's not cheap, but a great view and the food is good. That winery is just around the corner from the Cider house. Hope this helps.

Good call as I didn't think about that.

I'm easy. I've heard the food is great at the Waupoos Winery. Price isn't a huge concern however we had better find out if they are open for lunch.
If they are perhaps we should make a reservation so they can seat all of us.

It's not possible to import a route into North American iDrive/ Nav systems. That function only exists on Euro spec cars. You can only send a destination to your cars via Googlemaps.

I have a Garmin capable of accepting custom routes built on Googlemaps. I'll be using that.

Dnotorious, I'm definitely interested. Could you send me the Googlemaps link for the route? Thanks very much!

EDIT: Sorry, nevermind, I got the link off of the cruise map.

Cool, thank-you! Having the physical map will be great too.

*Sorry for the multiple posts everyone* Having trouble with multiple quotes on my mobile phone. This should be the last one.

Just a heads up the Costco Gas station will be pretty busy. I suggest filling up gas before heading to the Ajax GO, or tell people who need to go do so during the Ajax stop, but you'll need to give them time to get back to leave as a group.

Expect a 15-20min wait, probably more for everyone. The parking lot is usually pretty busy also, unless you get there early.

My car is in pieces or i'd join.
Only found out now and car was already apart since last weekend.

You would use fuel from costco in your M3

Yeah agreed, I would suggest everyone is gassed up and ready to fly at 11am sharp, at which time we head straight onto the 401. Waiting for people to gas up is no fun at all... and Duncan is right, why would anyone put Costco gas in their M3 baby?
