Rotor Recommendation

Hi All,

Are after market rotors worth it for the street?

I got a killer deal on a brand new set of TORNADO red calipers, so I was thinking of doing a full brake overhaul when I install them.

Looking around, the delta between performance and OEM replacement rotors is in the order of $350-500 dollars. Am wondering if its worth it if I don't intend on tracking the car.

BTW if you know a great place to buy rotors please let me know

OEM rotors work great, even on the race track
My calipers are also Tornado red

Correct, there was an optional red caliper that was offered later. It was pretty rare but they do pop up from time to time. It's functionally identical to the black one.

It's just an OEM red caliper, same design. Looks bad, just stick with stock black calipers.

You'll be well served by standard stock design calipers, like this:
