I loved the E92 M3, it was amazing. However, I couldn't resist the temptation of the dark side- got into a 2009 3LZ Z06.

No doubt that this beast will kill an M3 or M5. But, it's simply not a BMW.

Thanks! I can't believe the improvement Chevy has made. I had a C5 Z06 which was amazing and this kills it. Wow! I've had it for 2k miles and loving every second of it!

Very nice purchase man!

Drove a '11 3LZ Z06 last month. All I could say is that it keeps pulling and is SCARY fast compared to the M3. A lot of discipline is also required when taking it to it's limits.

When I say scary, I meant that in an intoxicating way. I'm considering on owning one someday...

My buddy has a 07 or 08 Z06 and I must say its really uncomfortable, lots of noices and when u hit some gravel you cant even hear yourself thinking :P Its a god damn beast tho and it looks stunning. Congrats!

Congrats neighbor!! Fantastic car. I had a brand new '07 Z06....it's truely the only car that has ever scared me with it's power. A 2nd gear dump at 60mph coupled with a mashed throttled will have you sitting in the opposite direction you were heading. After coutless other cars since the '07 Z, I'm back in a Vette.....an '11 4LT Grand Sport this time. I freakin love it. What part of MD are you from? (Frederick/Middletown here)

I'm in Germantown and have a performance shop in Damascus so Im back and forth in the area alot. We should def get together for a cruise etc.

The traction is surprisingly good. Hooks about 70% through 1st and the rest of td gears have no issues. It's def fast!! Already used to it though as I used to Race mid 8 sec vehicles

need mods!!

Btw the ride is great and comfortable! It's quiet, seats are very comfy and it gets around 28-30mpg on the hwy!

Went from a C6 ZO6 to the M. Z is a great car for the money but extremely unforgiving at the limit. Enjoy the ride and be safe. Beautiful ride.

OP... that is one of the baddest Z06's O have ever seen.... congrats.
