So full of win. Definitely a guy and philosophy to try to emulate.
I'd seen the garage before but never this full video - thanks for posting.

Very cool! Agree, Jack Olsen seems to have found his True North.

People have different reasons for buying the M3, all in their own interesting reasons.
Some wanna "lease" this car while waiting for the faster, newer M3. Some people worship it and keep it in garage driving 200 miles a year. Some people drive the heck out of it and use it as DD as much as possible. I've seen so many similar videos about ppl taking care of their pre-964 carreras, which is pretty popular nowadays. Our current gen M3 is more than enough recipe for that "all arounder" toy, and was also one of the reasons why I wanted this generation M car in the first place. The longer I own it i love it, the more i drive it i love it. Car drinks gas like crazy, but in return the S65 motor is pretty damn reliable as a performance car with ITB, not something very common. This car will def stay with me for a long time

Great video! I'm not sure if the subject "One Car to Do It All" is all that appropriate. I'd think an e90 M would be a much better candidate... then again... I'm biased

That was an absolutely awesome video that just about sums up my present M experience and where I want to be. In 12 years I still want this car and can't wait to see the dual purpose monster I will create! Mr. Olsen has set the bar rather high. Challenge accepted

whenever I see porsche(s), regardless of new/old/cheap/expensive, they always get my attention. It feels like every single one of them has a different story behind them. Like my friend said to me, it's the people/owners that makes Porsche special.

This is a very inspiring story. I've been fortunate enough to have tried some of the best cars for the past 10+ years including a Porsche Cayman S, C63. I say tried because non of these cars lasted more than a year in my garage except for an EVO X MR. For various reasons I could never stick with them. The bad side is by the time I end up with my M3 I've had vested ridiculous money on this bad habit. Now I've come to realize it has to stop or my daughter might not get to taste a university (lol). I'm just glad I have this M3 that I intend to carry on at least til 2023, a promise I promise not to break.
