ZCP is the code name for the Competition Package. Do you know what the Competition Package is?

ZCP gets you extra 50 HP. And, it's what sets it apart from non-ZCP civic-M3's.

Funny.

The package (ZCP) further enhances the highly responsive chassis by installing a 10mm lower suspension and 19” wheels with greater offset for a wider track.
Combined with remapped Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems, the M3 with Competition Package is the best handling production M car ever built.

Sorry what ?

The E46 M3 CSL will run rings around an E9x M3 ZCP. Just check ring times. We talking handling/track times here, not straight line stuff.

That was copy and paste so don't be attacking me....

Source:
http://www.bmwblog.com/2010/01/29/20...p-u-s-pricing/

I got it when I put "what is ZCP M3"

Also I don't think you can count the CSL as it was never really released as a mass production M3 in the states...
I think that's why they can say what they said.

The E36/46 were both mass produced and they are much better handling cars than the E92...

He was referring to the CSL, not the standard E36/46.

Considering it was an obvious forum of journalism, I didn't find a need

After you're here for a while, a few things are rather obvious.
The writing style is similar to that of a marketer, not an enthusiast posting online.
Sorry if it wasn't obvious enough.

Yeah jesus, it was very obvious, especially if you actually own and have ordered one of these cars with the comp package. I don't think they actually own M3s.... or if they do, they are the civic-3

Dinan stage 2 (or 3 if you want the camber), its not too much. Man I should get compensated by them, I plug them like its my own company.

The mere fact that that piece of shit writing was copied and pasted is alarming.

I do own a E90 M3, in fact its my 2nd M3. I was merely pointing out the error in that marketing blurb. Take it as you want.

I apologize, my comment was uncalled for. However, it is very, very obviously a BMW writing and very directly and succinctly answered the openers question, straight from the words of the people that created the car.

Good point, I knew I'd be doing plenty of things to the car so I bought it. Plus the interest rate was phenomenally low so I didn't even pay cash for it.

I'm just a sucker for all Dinan. I feel most comfortable with their products on my car.

Where were my panties in a wad ? Please show me.

By saying "Sorry what" does that entail that my panties or manties were in a knot. Wow. Good to know.
