Opinions on rod bearing wear - 2007 69k miles

I'm after opinions on the wear of these rod bearings I had swapped out. The car is a 2007 model with 69k miles and in the last 2 years of my ownership, has had an annual oil change and engine warmed up properly. Oil analysis on 2k mile old oil showed very low levels of copper and lead.

Thanks

07 should be copper bearings. I've seen many 07-09 down to the copper and since yours aren't, they arent nearly as bad as it could get. Seems fairly normal by bmw standards.

Millers Oil here in UK. They are fairly reputable. I'm hoping the damage was done before I bought it and regular maintenance has not caused further wear.

The good news is that if you put stock ones back in you should be good for another 70k.

Further evidence that oil analysis can't tell you a damn thing about the bearings .

Pretty typical wear for the S65. You won't pull original bearings out of an S65 that look normal by industry standards.

Why not? As someone pointed out there are not to copper yet, and to my unerstanding, they need to hit copper level before going rip right?

Is it reasonable to suppose that when we don't see much lead in the oil analysis (07-10 models) it's either that:

1.)The motor is running well and not wearing the bearings..or,
2.) The lead is so far gone that there is little left to wear out?

In case this is of interest... The lead and copper readings for my 2000 miles old oil were 3ppm each.
