Much needed wash! Pollen and bugs everywhere. Photoshoot at a new location coming soon hopefully.

I really really like this lip. I may have to get this once my luma lip gets a little more beat up.

FYI, MC makes a non CF version now that kinda looks like the matte finish that I have. Looks really good.

Just one pic, love how it turned out:

Warot - M3 - Top of Garage by ADM5 Photography, on Flickr

Bumper was repainted last week, so the diffuser is going back on. Also have to reinstall side skirt extenders after a little mishap

Haha thank you Sam! Unfortunately, I just don't have any big updates coming up. Is it bad if I'm actually jealous of other people getting to mod their cars right now and not me? Just have small projects left, thinking of doing a custom shift and ebrake boot + wrap plastic steering wheel trim.

In the next couple of weeks, I also plan on throwing the diffuser and side skirt extenders back on. Then I have a track day at CMP on May 10th, I think. Then mountain runs and photoshoots, so hopefully many more pictures to come.

Until then, all I got are 2 cellphones pics from the car sitting at work(Galaxy S5's take amazing shots!). Love Sparkling Graphite when it's sunny out!

Got a chance to drive something very different than my M today. I have to say, it was definitely an interesting experience. Wouldn't that be a hell of a weird combo to have in 1 garage

For all the slack BMW gets about the i3, I have to say I really enjoyed driving it, even if it was a very short test drive.

Thanks for the kind words buddy! I really appreciate it.

Believe it or not, most of the picture in this build thread is by ADM5. And he doesn't have any fancy equipment or anything. We joke around about how both my M3 and his photography skills has progressed as we went along. Hopefully I can get him to do another one in a few weeks!

P.S. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with Swift springs. I say do it!

Logic...Kind words for kind people !
After reading this, think it's time for "ME" to jump after a photographer education with my Canon !
Also this thread is now parked in my favorites !
About the Swifts i trust you 100 %,but this afternoon i've was driving around my village and town and counted the speed bumps and looked to the height of them.....mannnn !(with the Swifts in my mind),even stock i realy need to slow down !(Walk-speed) Damn this country !(same with test pipes)
Next plan is....when i'm on a speed bump(without traffic) i will stop the car and going to look under the front of the car, to search after one inch of space = the lowered measure of the Swifts !
After this.. when positive...it's a go for the Swifts !

You can pull it off with proper technique. Slow down and hit those bumps at an angle. An occasional adjustment in driving technique is sometimes needed when lowered. Parking curbs aren't friendly either.

Thanks for advice !But i use this technique since the existence of the speed bump history !
But only possible with no upcoming traffic, and when there is, and there is also a car behind us....no choise is left..... it's straight up and over ,because they love to use their horn against the ///M3's...speaking of details and expierence !
How i know this... my previous BMW had a drop of 5cm off the ground !
Anyway thanks man !

Keep in mind, I've got a CF lip (not the most aggressive one I admit) AND the Swift springs, and for the most part, I never have to take a speed bump at an angle. Unless the speed bumps you have are absolutely giant, the Swift springs won't cause a problem.

I'll snap a picture of the car right next to a speed bump tomorrow. It's one of those longer ones, but not tall, and you can see how much clearance I have.

Sounds perfect ! Thank you !
About the speed bumps here, yes some are giant !(tall with very straight angle) !
Another problem in my mind is the yearly car inspection and the car suspension test !When the car is even a little bit jumpy their computer say's suspension is worn, and it's a no pass! And the suspension was brand new ! LoL! I had this problem with my previous BWM with full AC/Schnitzer
suspension !(Every year !) Also for that problem i need to dig after more info ! "Damn" this country ?!?!
I realy need to think on every detail before i go for the Swifts !Otherwise it's to late !

Did you ever take a pic? I really want this lip, but after installing my KW sleeves, I'm questioning if I've got enough clearance to play with.

Just read through all 12 pages. Love what you have done. Great car! Really considering the mode lip now that i've seen it on your car.
