My bootlid is uneven, help!!!
A little backstory. Bought the vorsteiner bootlid from IND, it is a high quality piece, I love everything about it and I get compliments on it all the time. I had IND install it. When it was first installed, it was perfect, gapped and fit perfectly, after a couple months though, the boot lid seemed to shift to the left causing a large gap on the right side, so I brought it to IND and they refit it perfectly. It fit perfect for months, until just recently it has now shifted to the right and caused a large gap on the left. I know I'm anal, but I like everything to fit perfect on the car, and I know if I take it back to IND they'll refit it for me, but I don't want to bother them all the time just to fit the trunk, especially if it's something I can do on my own.
You can see the left side is raised up above the rest of the car a bit too. Do I mess with the bolts on the actually trunk lid or the latch on the bumper? |

bother us? This is our job
Let me know when you want to stop by and we will see if we need to start a warranty claim on the trunk. VRS has always been good about replacing parts for us.

Glad it was fixed. And that wasn't being 'anal' buddy; it looked horrible. Wonder why the heck it kept getting out of alignment. Either a defective part or bad installation. Hope it stays in place now . Have a great weekend gang.

Properly just needed to adjust the bump stops on the trunk. When I had mine I had a much bigger issue though.
