Lexus LFA drives dies after crashing into a BMW

I don't if this is a repost but the Lexus LFA driver dies after hitting a BMW that was being tested and the BMW driver and passenger are in seriously injured. At least we know that BMW's are built stronger and tougher than its competitors.

No, we know that a crash between a two seat sports car prototype (that probably didn't have working airbags) and a four door, 4klb sedan doesn't turn out well.

RIP.

Like I said in the other thread talking about this same exact thing in the "Other Vehicles" section,

You are comparing a production car to a pre-production test mule, which probably doesnt have safety equipment in it (or enough to pass regulations required before sale).

Both of the BMW test drivers have life threatening injuries, one of them in critical condition. Its irrelevant, stupid and really screwed up to compare the 2 cars' "toughness" based on this horrible accident.

Sad story. However I assume the "test" car is well-equipped with personal protection. It's no where stated that it was on a closed road, so if it's on a public road, it should've had all security in place otherwise it wasn't road legal.

If it was on a public road without safety devices in place, it's still a sad accident but it's 100% their fault.

It already is 100% their fault, they veered into the oncoming lane. Also, that red license plate isn't a normal public license plate. Car manufacturers test on the Nurburgring daily, I'm sure Germany has a special way to plate a prototype for travel to and from, and to be on, the Nurburgring (remember, the track is actually considered as a toll road here in Germany, local laws apply on the track as well).

Toyota losing their prototype cost them an estimated 1.5million euros.

How did we ever get by before we had 8 airbags, DSC, ABS, and explosive seat belt tensioners!

Some of you made some VERY, VERY IDIOTIC comments (especially OP, who can't even spell "Borla"), just because it was a car made by Toyota. Or because you're brand whores and just can't admit or realize it. If this was a BMW supercar or Walter Rohrl you'd be writing much more sensitive or somber things.

I'd say a lot worse but I know the admins will just delete my comments.

I am just going to throw this out there....who cares?!?!?!?

I am certainly going to be apathetic on an online forum for three people in a car accident.

A $325,000 Lexus prototype crashes into a BMW. One guy dies and two others are seriously injured. Fatal accidents happen all the time. The Toyota safety comment was kind of funny.
