who's got 20's? Ride opinion needed
Right so I'm about to push the button on a set of 20's but alot of people I've spoken to have said it's going to be a really harsh ride etc. When asked if they've driven a car on 20's they say no!!
So I want opinions from owners with 20" wheels as to what the ride is really like. I'm not interested in tracking the car, I race bikes so if i'm going anywhere near a track it will be on that. I don't mind the ride being harder, I can handle that, but some have mentioned tramlining and the car not feeling as direct! The 20's I'll be getting will be about the same weight as the standard 19's so weight isn't really an issue. Any comments gratefully received |

which 20's are you looking at?
I would highly recommend going with 360 Forged ...nicest wheels out there! and as for the ride...you dont seem like the type who is too fussy about the ride. you def feel the road a little more. but its not bad AT ALL. and its def worth the looks of 20's vs 19s.

Thanks for the response, funny you should say 360 as that's exactly what I'm looking at.
Either Mesh 8 or Mesh 10 it changes from minute to minute which ones I prefer!! Did you notice a difference in handling at all? Thanks again |

20s as you know will ride harder. No real drawbacks other than tire selection and having to keep an eye out for potholes. I'd do it all over again.

i personally am not into 20's, but agree that they look sick.
I just rode in shady1's m3. He has 20" 360 forged wheels on H&R sports. I was very surprised at how well it rode. Not harsh. Not overly stiff. If 20's is the look you like, then go for it |

i've run 2 different sets of 20s, but for some reason my BBS feel a bit more comfortable than my DPEs did, maybe because the shop put more air in?
anyways, definately get 20s, the looks are definately worth the slight decrease in ride comfort
