Lightbulb Help, I'm getting YELLOW fever again, no not that kind!

"Light Bulb!" (sorry just finished watching Despicable Me with the kiddies )

So there's nothing wrong with my white e90 m3 but I'm feeling a bit of yellow fever right now so debating a few things.

I still love white cars but thinking I need some color in my garage so I want to replace one of my cars with a yellow one ~ either the s2000 or m3.

I know I can easily find a Rio yellow s2000 but what are my chances of finding a Dakar or Speed Yellow E90 Sedan?

I think I know the answer to that but can't hurt to dream right?

Going to start poking around online but if anyone wants to trade their yellow e90 sedan (doesn't matter stick or dct) for a clean white e90 sedan let me know.

P.S. I did an Autotrader search and 2 listings, one is dealer and one private party coupe.

Have you considered wrapping the E90? That way if the "yellow fever" ever subsides, you can just rip it off and you have a white car again. Seems like way less of a headache than having to negotiate a trade, title, etc.

I'd suggest wrapping too if nothing is wrong with your car.

Yes I've thought about it many times but concerned how the door jams and engine bay would look. I've always been curious how a wrapped car would look one owner popped open the trunk, hood or opened their doors!

My buddy is getting his z4m wrapped from red to white so will go check out the process this week and make a decision.

You snooze, you lose. Powerbeast just sold his and that would have been the one Dakar yellow car, not to mention THE one to buy!

If only it was that simple

I'm not looking to get a 2-seater guys, just looking to change colors or maybe pickup another 4-door down the road.

Going to explore the wrap option a bit more....

As both a Spa and Rio owner, I have to disagree as Rio > Spa

I'm going to drop by the vinyl shop to see how they handle door jams and trunks for wrapping cars. This is one thing I have yet to see people talk about but it would bother the heck out of my to have a sweet wrapped yellow car only to open the doors and it shows white!!!

Do most people just don't care?

WRAP WRAP CITY!

I think you'd get over the whole jamb things after a while. At least you don't have a color peeking through. But of course if they can do the jambs even better. I supposed it depends on how long you plan on keeping it for.

If you are willing to drive down to LA, I can recommend a shop that does top quality wrap work for a reasonable price. He covers every little crack so the car looks like it was painted! Including door jambs
