**Active Autowerke E9X M3 Performance Software ( Specs , Videos & Pricing Inside )**
Hello Board,
First of all I want to thank you all for your patience. We are proud to introduce our Stage 1 Software for the E9X M3.... Active Autowerke offers unparalleled performance software for your E90/E92/E93 M3. Through careful remapping of the DME tables, various elements such as ignition timing, fuel delivery, and part throttles are reworked to create performance gains. More importantly, the upgraded software is designed to operate with gasoline that has an average octane rating with full emissions to create a clean burning combustion with good AFR’s all within factory specifications. Custom configurations are available when pairing with the Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust system, Signature Pulley or other performance upgrades. The performance software delivers gains of over 15 horsepower while maintaining the factory driving characteristics that you have grown to love. Features include: * HP/Torque Gains Throughout Entire RPM Band * Crisper throttle response * More Aggressive Throttle Mapping * Fuel Curve Remapping on locked ECU's and open ECU's * Camshaft Vanos Remapping (No more Rough startup (experienced when car is cold for emissions purposes). Car will idle smooth at startup. * Remove speed limiter * Adjust or remove RPM limiter at customers request * Stationary RPM limiter changed. Holds RPM at constant rate until the car starts moving. RPM is specified by customer. 3500 RPMs recommended. This feature is the equivalent of 'Launch Control' for 6MT owners. * Rev Limiter by Gear if Requested * Offroad features: Remove front and/or rear O2 sensor mapping at customer request -- for customers who run straight pipes in place of front/rear catalytic converters. * Does not affect smog ratings or certifications (unless 'offroad features' are enabled) -Dyno charts will be available tomorrow for those who are interested. Here is a video featuring our Launch Control feature (set at 4000 RPM). Inside the car (Needle at 4000RPM, let off after shift): Outside the car: Available Immediately: Intro Special - $795 - First 30 Customers |

What does Active recommend setting the limiter at? I would love 8500 rpm to prevent hitting the limiter with my DCT car so frequently. Can you guys set the limiter at any rpm the owner wants?
Will Active provide custom nitrous tunes for those who wish to use ASR's nitrous kit as they have in the past for the M5/M6? Looking forward to the dyno chart. Edit: For DCT owners who get a new rpm limit, will the car shift at the new limit or will it go by the OEM shift rpm's in the auto modes? |

edit: checked online and S65 is listed at US $24,041 in europe. so that's $58/hp. can you feel +15hps though? that's a 3.6% gain over stock. Last edited by rzm3; 09-17-2008 at 12:09 AM.. |

If you significantly raise the redline will the ECU log them as overrevs, this has been an issue with Porsche, even w/o detecting a flash if one has overrevs they may decline warranty possibly thinking the driver either abused the car or caught a money shift (downshift overrev).

Sorry about the delay guys. We finally had time to make it over to a dynojet on Friday. Here is the dyno chart.
Base run : Stock Car (Similar conditions , same dyno, different day ) Middle run : Active Autowerke Signature Pulley Kit, Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust (same day as High Run) High Run: AA Bolt on Mods ( Pulley and Exhaust ) and Active Autowerke Performance Software. (same day as middle run) - We lost a little bit of torque due to the more aggressive throttle openings with our software. This can be adjusted to your preference. |

So if I Remove front and/or rear O2 sensor mapping, will this mean I can run a straight pipe from the headers to the exhaust???? how about for others like me who bought another pulley not AA will it be a custom setup for this?? And about the launch control, will it always start from 3500rpm, or is there a way to activate it???
thanks, now I'm really interested in getting both. |
