New Car: 2012 Jerez Black M3
I previously spent a lot of time over at E90post as I used to own a E92 335i, but I have made the leap into an M car finally. I loved the 335i but using it as a DD through WI winters had started to take it's toll, and rather than keep dumping money into it, I decided to take the opportunity and upgrade. I found this car at my local BMW dealer and put a deposit down on the spot! I purchased with just over 25,000 miles and it is a DCT (I know!!) and of course an aftermarket warranty for peace of mind. Anyway, enough of me talking, onto the pictures!

Congrat's. How did you add a warranty if you dont mind me asking? And which did you go with?
I thought you cannot add a warranty unless there is some type of warranty already on the vehicle.

There are many aftermarket warranty companies that will sell you a warranty on a car with no current coverage (Endurance, etc.). It'll cost more, but they'll certainly sell you one.

Sorry about the pictures not showing up, I'll get those on Flickr shortly. Regarding the warranty, I purchased an extended warranty from the dealer with wrapped in with the whole deal. I can't recall what name it was but, it is only covered until 56,000 miles, which is not that big of a deal, certainly better than nothing at all. It is full power train warranty, when I had my 335i it was a CPO car so that had warranty until 100k.

True words spoken right here! I loved my 335i don't get me wrong, but between walnut blastings, coils, plugs, limp modes, and a host of other problems, I was ready to throw in the towel. So far the M3 has exceeded all of my expectations. The DCT is super fun, it took some getting used to (looking for a DCT tune in spring), but it is lightning fast.

Love Jerez, for the longest time I wanted an aftermarket warranty but didn’t want to deal with the battles because frankly it wouldn’t stay stock. Of course nothing is permanent if you have the time to pull and reinstall.
Beautiful car Oz |
