AW 09/E92 "Expatriate" from the Sunshine State

I just moved to Houston with my wife & baby beginning of July to the Uptown/Galleria area and I want to start getting into the "M" scene around here, meet new friends and start joining the events.

I posted on Facebook about people going to the "Coffee and Cars" next Aug 4th, I'd like to meet if anyone is going (I sure will go, even by myself)

There's lot's of activity for you in Houston. The Houston ///M Club has plenty of track events and get-togethers, and the Houston chapter of the BMW CCA has many more HDPE's, autocross, tech sessions, fun drives, and social activities as well.

I recommend that you get involved in both!

Thanks everyone, so far, from all posts I've made in this site,this is the post where I got the most replies... I even got someone who also likes Road Racing!!

So far is Redracer & me driving to C&C, hopefully we can get some of you to join us

Now, I already joined the HoustonMclub in FB and will come to the next event, even if only to watch (not sure if my tire/wheel combo are a wise set up to take to the track)

Before I go... yesterday I was having a SB at Post Oak Blvd and during the 30 min or so I was there I counted six E-9X M's., couple with very nice sound ... NICE!!... good to see people here know how to have fun on this Highways...

Welcome to Houston. The MClub usually sends out an email to coordinate a Coffee and Cars gathering. Unfortunately, I won't be at the August event.

M3s, Caymens, and 911s are a dime a dozen in your part of town. You'll easily see a few Ferraris and Lambos on a daily basis.
