got to admit I'd die in 100 mile roundtrips in any car. that's a lot of driving daily for work - wow.

Funny as this sounds, I wish my commute was at least 20 miles one way haha.
Haha im on the same boat (literally!) .. got exactly a 9 mile commute too. Might have to start taking the long way.

My commute is 25 miles one way. It is the perfect commute IMO.

I don't exactly have to be at my office everyday or be in at a certain time. Therefore at least once a week if there's a beautiful day I get a nice latte and go the long way.

I spent a couple mornings on Google Maps and in the car finding out alternative routes. I have a 20-minute straight shot highway commute, a 35-minute back-roads commute, and a 45-minute farmland/back-road/small town commute memorized.

Turns out it's also a big help to have done this in advance when there is a major accident on the highway.

Looks great. I ordered mine on 9/18 and took delivery 11/5. Only mine came in with problems with the paint. Dirt and dust particles were above the paint but somehow were under the clear. NO IDEA why the car even SHIPPED from GERMANY. Needless to say, I rejected delivery after I drove it for 200 miles but had to impatiently wait another month and a half for a new one to be custom built and shipped. I pick mine up (for the second time) on 12/18. I think yours took extremely long! But Congrats on the car!

I guarantee you have just made all who haven't received their cars a bit paranoid on what they might receive

Yea, well . . . . . Not something I would expect from BMW and I was very disappointed when I saw the spots in the paint. I do have to say, the dealership (both my rep and the owner) agreed that they wouldn't have accepted the car in that condition either. Even the BMW NA rep said that it shouldn't have made it through quality control in Germany.

It is the first time that I have ever experienced it. I read through the posts on here to try to find something similar and came up with nothing.

Do you have a DIY for the hardware of radar? Want to do it myself as well.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one anyways.

I ended up going with the Mineral White Metallic paint with the Novillo extended leather. I loved my decision the first time around, so I know the second time will be just as good 😎

I know you've been checking, but officially, the cars are "DELIVERED FROM" status. One day for Liners/Custom Release it seems, then 4-5 days before we get to pick them up. We could be in these cars Sat. if we're lucky!
