Question should i replace my E92 M3 with a Valencia 2012 1M?

I already own a 2011 X5M a 2012 Ferrari italia, Lately the 1M has been hunting me. Should i take the plunge and get 2012 Valencia Orange 1M? my slight complaint with the M3 is that is' slightly heavy and not wild enough like the 1M. would i be disappointed if i get the 1M? after all i do have an italia and a X5M. i need a 1M as a daily driver to work and in city(like the M3), but the M3 more of a grown up car and not risky enough.

And since i have a strong relation with my dealer he can get me a 1M in less than a month, while most people have to wait till april 2012

though,in your opinion,coming from M3, did the 1M fee like a downgrade?

i'm also planning on boosting the turbos on the 1M and installing an
akrapovic on it.

what are your thoughts? from my understand, the 1M fees raw and a home to the E30 M3(greatest M3 of all time).

one more thing, in a year or i'll be ordering the F10 M5 once it's matured enough.

thanks for the feedback guys,

Marwan,

If you feel like your m3 is not wild enough, have ESS do a VT2 650 kit. It will give your 458 a run for its money!

Does that mean you'll spend the majority of your time on the 1M board?

Then yes, yes you should.

Sounds like the 1M is exactly what you are looking for.

This thread on 1M vs M3 should answer some of your questions:

Foodle, perhaps I overreacted to the absurdity of someone with the means to spend $350,00 in recent vehicle purchases laboring over the replacement of a $60k car with a $50k car. It may have been my recent promotion to "Private First Class" that went to my head.

ill take your work for it, the M3 doesn't get going till 4-5k RPM, im a city driver and need those instant turbo boosts when coming out of a corner and joining a main road or highway. it's a tough choice. luckily my best friend will let me drive his 1M on thursday.

I have drive my friends' 1M last week in City. It's really practice in traffic.

1'500 - 4'500 rpm it's perfect

500 Nm with overboost

Coming from a 135i with N54, full bolt ons, jb4, m3 control arms and a wavetrac lsd...

Yes you should definitely pick up an 1m!

At the same time though, a v8 is a v8. I owned 3 turbo vehicles prior to my M3 and has been wanting a high revving car for the longest time. Even owning my Miata MX-5 was fun!

I only wished the M3 was lighter, and not as big. But even if it is, you definitely don't feel it when you're driving.

Funny enough, the M3 gives me great driving confidence because of it's technology and well sorted suspension. But because I came from smaller vehicles...knowing the M3 is bigger, and heavier...that's where I lose confidence!

No worries. For some people here, buying an M3 took years of savings and sacrifice. For others, it's just a few extra zeroes on a check. As long as we're all respectful of each other and exchange useful info, it's all good.

Also, remember that rich people (even really rich people) are some of the most fanatical penny pinchers out there. Just because you have a lot of money doesn't mean you don't love a good deal.

This. Just buy an M3 and 1M in every color/configuration to suit your mood.

WTH
Visit M3 vs.. where this topic has been beat into submission. Clearly, you want to stir a the pot a bit as I can't think of another topic which has been so vehemently debated. Surely you know better.
