track settings

How do you know what is the best set-up for the track?

1. a road course seems to be light heading setting if your going at a very high speed through a turn like 290km/h turn. I have me suspension set at stiff n the from and softer in the back.

2. Should the stiffness setting be the same for front and back and let the springs do all the work?

I don't understand your first question and theres a lot more to it.

2. No, the settings will be different in both rebound and compression front and rear.
Go all the way stiff on all the settings (which is what I assume you did) will be terrible for the cars handling

The first question , was are the setting different for high speed turns( 290km/h) compared to road course turns( lower speeds 60km/h)

There's a track where you can drive your M3 through a 290 km/h turn? I may be a track neophyte, but I'm smelling BS.

Its not the track I am actually talking about but a country side highway here in Taiwan. I don't drive a F1 car.

Ok. You're taking a turn on a road through the country side near the M3's top speed?

You will need to test different settings. If you have both compression and rebound adjustments, start with the compression setting, once you have that set, then move on to the rebound settings.

At that speed through a turn, you may have better luck with adding a splitter and a wing on the car!
