See, here's my problem. There are plenty of better and more aggressive looking cars than the M3, but I need four doors. So that puts me in a pickle. I don't buy pussymatic cars if I don't have a manual to drive, and since the M3's my DD, it's gotta have a manual. That leaves me with the CTS-V or a used RS4. The CTS-V isn't up to my daily driving standards, and the RS4 is awesome, but I don't like Bose stereos...

So the M3 is the right fit for me. It drives, performs and feels as good as I want it to. There are plenty of better looking cars, but nothing under 100 grand that has four doors and a manual transmission. The E92 is a hard price, though. Because you guys are paying $70-85K for your cars, and that's a CPO 911 all the way up to a 2007 GT3 or Turbo... Some may even throw the Z06 in there, as well as some 360 Modenas.

You call auto cars pussymatics but didn't buy a car because of the stereo

Well, I enjoy a good stock stereo for my Blues, Blues/Rock, R&B, Soul, Rock, Jazz, etc. I've got almost 11,000 songs on my iPod, so I enjoy cranking my tunes on a good stereo while driving my manual transmission. Bose, to me, don't make good enough stereos. They're a little lacking in the volume and mid departments.

Granted, the M3's premium sound isn't the greatest, but it's better than the RS4's. The only stock Bose system I enjoy in a modern car is Porsche. They did something different to it... The GM and Audi Bose systems are just lacking a little something.

Try imagining you either:
-Don't need 4 doors
-Have money to purchase an additional car that is 2 doors.

Then what do you think?

Plus, nobody actually pays 85K. A loaded M3 convertible might run 80K, but anyone with half a brain leased it for $600-700/mo. You can barely get in a Boxster for $600/mo.
You really think an M3 starts at $50,000? The M3 hasn't had an MSRP of 50-grand since the E46... The 2006 M3 based at 48-grand.

The E90 MSRP= $55,900; E92 MSRP= $58,900; E93 MSRP= $67,550

I know that no one actually pays $85K for an M3. A loaded E93 M3 will run up to $90K and more fully loaded! That's a lot of money. But here's the thing, if you're looking at a BMW M3 that costs more than $75,000, then you should go check out used 911s, unless you're getting a ZCP, then I'd look at used 911 Turbos and GT3s still.

Then I'd have to say anything in the 911 range. They're not necessarily better looking, just different. See, a lot of Ferraris, Lambos, Maseratis, etc. are better looking cars. But I'm so biased towards a manual that I can't have a car without it. It actually angers me. But yeah, the Ferrari 599, FF, 458; Lamborghini LP-560, LP-670, Aventador; Porsche Panamera, 911, GT3, GT2, Turbo, Cayman; Maserati GranTurismo, Quattroporte; Audi S5, RS5; Lotus Evora.

Used cars in price range: Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari 360 Modena, Maserati Quattroporte, 911 range, Cayman S, Audi S5, Lotus Evora, Bentley Continental GT, and I think that's about it.

Edit: I forgot to add the Lotus Esprit. I almost bought a 2002 before buying my M3...

It's past the limit but even if I won the lotto those are the only 2 door cars I would buy.
