Lexus lost me on hybrid. The design is generic. Unless it is the 918, all other hybrids don't mix with performance.

This is where Lexus should be at. This is original and it is Hard to top. I saw it in real life recently. Nothing else out there compares to this:

The teaser already pretty much summed up to me that the grill part was going to be ugly. Luckily this thing is still a concept.

Hope they don't go the Acura route and kill the styling of their cars.

Can anyone else see the E60 5 series in the side profile? I think after seeing the pictures it isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it isn't good either. The front end is ruined by that big grille. The only thing that sort of looks ok is the rear end. Even at that it looks like a Kia concept.

Also, even though it is exactly the same length as the 5 series this thing looks huge!

+1000.....Lexus has time on their side to change the design. I hope they do.

Dude, no way. This was my first thought too. I'm going to brag about this as I'm really shitty in spotting design ques. I matched the thoughts of the great HKS786

The exterior screams E60 5 series for sure. Lexus should of designed a concept that mimics no other ala the 2nd gen GS. Not a bad looking car but it does not make me drool like the Jag XF-R which is the best looking in class imo..

Nice chop below

There is NO resemblance to the E60 in this car. It's 100% unique ugliness. I really don't know how they manage to top themselves with this. You've got trim that varies in thickness arbitrarily, you've got concave lines running into more concave lines (grille's border), and you've got the requisite shitty Lexus concept detailing (stupid taillight tearing...does nothing for the car).

I really can't stand Toyota or Lexus's design language. Never liked anything that's come from them besides their super bland and inoffensive cars (Supra being one of the few). The LF-A is another rare exception.

I could shit out a headlight design better than that in 5 minutes, too.

I just log into BMW forums to laugh at BMW owners calling other cars ugly ...
Especially in some forums\folks have sugested that they copied the 5 series...i believe that BMW will be last place any car manufacturer would go to to copy design!!! Stop flattering yourselves.

I love the new direction Lexus is heading...would be great if the front makes it to the ISF.

You're straight up ignorant if you think that only BMW owners call other cars ugly. Go to any car forum and you'll see the same thing. I'm very jealous of "your" Boxter Spyder but you can get the fuck outta here.

Just out of interest, what do you drive? We all have different ideas about what looks good and what doesn't look good. What would it be like if we all liked/disliked the same cars? Also, don't get too happy about the big Audi front because it will not make it to any production Lexus.

Regards 5 series comment I made, again it's just my perception. I can see a small resemblance.

You are clearly some sort of retard if you think this thing looks good. I never understood how anybody could like the majority of Lexus's styling direction.

Inb4fanboy: I'm an obsessive when it comes to car design. I'll rave about any design that's actually good. I'll also voice my opinion when a car/concept looks like a deformed piece of shit (LF-Gh, case in point).

Ok, ok. I see, there's some E60 resemblance. They just shat on a lot of the design cues. That's all.
