Weekend M3? Back to BMW, maybe…probably (Cost to Lease?)

I recently got rid of my 335xi Coupe in favour of something a little bit more practical:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=goodbye

However, after just a few short weeks, I'm beginning to miss the power and handling. I'm thinking of getting an M3 as a second car for weekend fun. Please note, I completely understand it's impractical for a young guy, living in downtown, to have two cars, BUT, I like my toys…and I've already conviced myself that missing out on the "last naturally aspirated V8 M3" will haunt me for the rest of my days.

So, my question to you guys is how much should I expect to pay for a 3-year lease (20km/year) for a relatively loaded M3 coupe (Approx. $82k MSRP)? I'm assuming I should be looking at spending ~$1700 taxes included (as per BMW's website with credit card like interest rates. Theives!). However, when I posted my previous lease for the 335xi, there were some comments that M3's were being leased for $1200-$1400. I'm assuming these people had a combination of a good deal and a pretty aggressive interest rate.

How much do you think I would be able to lease one for now? Any recent experiences?

Thanks.

The monthly payment is also affected by how much money down you give. How much do you plan to put down?

To clarify, I've checked online, as well as a dealer and their pricing is pretty consistent. However, when I was getting rid of my last car, several members said that they received better lease rates on their M3 compared to my 335xi. So, I was going to the source, seeing how you guys did with respect to your deals.

Furthermore, I doubt the dealer will tell me the best deal he/she gave to a customer.

The only real special deals on M3's was at end of the 08 model year when there were a lots of 08's left over when BMW Canada overestimated the market.People were getting their cars for a lot less money that I paid for my car which was one the early ones.

Yup, I still can't believe the deal I got on mine. $20k off MSRP. Timing is everything.

Yes no doubt. End of 2008 was the best time to grab an M3. I scooped up one of the last AW E90's well below MSRP. I have never regretted the decision.

Yep, 08 deals were amazing...anytime after sucked in comparison. Family was picking up an 09 X5 ..and at the time I didn't think much of the M3 deals. I walk in 6 months later, boy did those numbers suck.
