I'm really concerned now. I spoke with my Salesman today and he said my car is not scheduled to reach the dealership unitl this Thursday, September 15th. This is eight days after the ship arrived. Is this normal?

MY ED 330i is on the Otello as well. I understand that customs has intentionally slowed the inspection process, so we can expect a two week delay at port.

My car is on the same boat. I think all cars are taken off at NY then go to VPC. From there I will be picking mine up from my dealer in Maryland. We will have to keep each other updated.

It says my vehicle is "In Transit" now, does that mean I can track it yet? I tried with the full VIN and it said "No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered"

We had difficulty tracking it to the West coast due to the carrier making it almost impossible. You may be able to find it as stated at the beginning of this thread since East coast deliveries are on different carriers...seems like some were able to use VIN to get info. Good luck!

I hate this tracking thing, it's making me crazy. I like that last time when I ordered a car they just told me it would be in within 4-6 weeks and that was that. haha

I received my order number from my CA. I check the OC (Owner's Circle, not the TV show), and it's officially "On Order". I then found out from from CA that my car is set for production week 39. That should be next week. I can't wait.

I'm in a similar situation. I ordered on Tuesday, and the 800-number says that the car is "scheduled for production with no production date." The dealer told me it was scheduled for production in week 39. Do you know for sure that "week 39" is next week? I was guessing that week 39 was Sept. 26-30.

I am not positive next week is week 39. I just counted the weeks in the year.

I'm a week 39 production also, which I believe it's the last week in September. I placed my order almost a month ago.

For everybody who is a week 39 production, I would expect the status to change to scheduled for production (with a date) late next week.
