Nice ads btw... the first one is great. If I were to change one thing it would be the font and drop shadow used around the magnifying glass in the second one.

I like the concept and the ad.
Question for you? Why did you pick a font that's crayon and looks as if a child wrote it? I thought the Cobalt was more of a singles car. IMO

I really like the concept. The image with the green mountains is not great (power lines, other clutter)..May be another canyon/mountain shot (grand canyon, zion/moab, alaska glacier, etc). My 4-year old gave it an "AWESOME" when she first saw the photos. Unfortunately, she is probably not the target demographic. Nice work.

I think it's a great ad. Probably better than many ad execs that get paid the big bucks. I cannot believe how awful the Superbowl ads were this year.

Nikki, what tool did you use to select the car image? Did you freehand select, smart select, or something else?

I must be using the magic wand wrong. It oftentimes selects other things I don't want to select.

OK they want to go with an orange theme, so I have no control over that. But here is a flyer for the event that I made and also the front and rear version of 5x7" glossy cards that will be distributed.
I feel so proud now that this is almost becoming real, I've never designed anything like this, I'm so excited! Yeay for my resume! haha.

Hmm, I forgot to put the white on the back of the card like the flyer. Does this look more consistent?
Also I think the red font on the cards looks better but the white on the flyer stands out better. Should I keep them different or make them both the same?
