Rod Bearings @ 25k ??

I have a 2011 model with 25,000 miles.
Have there been any recorded cases of bearing failure at about this point?
Please don't pass on anecdotes or opinion - have read those - I'm after any ones genuine experience or of someone they know has personally had the problem at those low Km.
thanks again

There was a recent case posted on here of a guy who had failure at 3000 miles. What that means, is up to you to figure out.

I don't think it has been determined yet what the failure is within the engine.

Yes, there have been low mileage failures. Unfortunately, no way to predict whether your car will be one of the small percentage that fail. Sort of sucks, especially as cars are aging out of warranty.

I think there have been 1 or 2 reports of dignificant wear on replacement bearings among the very few motors that were opened up again. There just isn't much data yet. I replaced mine as preventative maintenance 12k miles ago but have no plans to take everything apart again for 5 years or 50k miles.

That would be concerning that a couple/few reports of motors that had significant bearing wear after bearing change.
Who did the swap
What bearings were used
What rod bolts were used
Were they torqued properly
etc.

Again, if we had all the answers, the diagnosus and solution would be much simpler. You will have to do your own research and come to your own conclusion. You probably have life insurance even though there is a miniscule chance you will die prematurely.

There is one documented case of a car that had the RB replaced w/aftermarket bearings while the car was s/c'ed and after 30k+ miles, the engine was opened up again, and there was no wear on the new bearings.
