How you do you guys thing the new M3 will match up performance wise to the cars that will seen on the road, say on a highway pull.

Corvette 08 new one with 436 hp
older vette
Z06
RS4
E63
CLK63
911 S
R8
VIPER
ASTON MARTIN DB9

Hey man, there are lots and lots of reviews already posted that talke about this .

But, it should basically be as fast or faster than the RS4, C63, 911S, R8.. The Austin, Viper, and Z06 are probably a league above...

I've rode shotgun in a DB9. It's fast, but I bet the M3 is quicker/faster.

Austin Martin?

Don't forget the C63. That's a direct competitor, and will probably be one of the tougher ones to reel in based on reviews.

The C63 is one version only - AMG. You may want to write that one down as well.

It's Aston Martin, and it won't hold a candle to the Z06. But should be great competition for the other cars you mentioned.
