wow. look, before knocking on a technology to make a process simpler, you should really understand what the process actually is.

I just can't get over how ugly that C-pillar is to me! Why couldn't they just keep it looking the same as the other generations of the Z? The rev-matching thing looks cool, but it's kind of like the hill-assist in our BMWs, it kind of takes part of the challenge of driving a standard transmission away.....

except you cant turn hill assist off. and besides, the c-pillar actually does harken back to older generations of the z. or did you mean to say, just the 350z generation?

I went and looked at them again yesterday. They have 5 sitting outside with bird poo all over them. Loaded touring with auto was 39K and some change???

Black/black six speed 38K and some change.
I would bet they will discount too.

I plan to test drive one. I think the rev-match MT sounds very interesting and I wonder how good it is. I've seen the videos posted here at e90post, but they mostly suck at showing me the rev-matching in action. I'd like to see and hear it working, just a few shifts up and down. Someone bring a camera guy along with them when you test drive, will you? For example, what about shifting while braking, will the computer still rev-match correctly? Or what about 6-3 or other hard shifts?

The new rear quarter window tries to emulate the look of the original 240Z, which is why the C-pillar looks more chunky.
