Hi mate, lovely car! I just joined up to let you know that your car has been discussed on E38 VAG forum, a fella on there claimed it was his, he used this pic as his avatar;
Here's the thread on E38, you need to join to view it - http://www.edition38.com/forums/inde...&#entry2837082 - the username is blackmagicvr but it was originally LeeHill139, he claims to be a friend of a wealthy UK celebrity and car collector 'Chris Evans' and he also claimed that he owns a Dakar yellow M3. Anyway, just joined to let you know! Us internet people are a strange bunch |

It was totally my idea to resurrect Kyalami!
I asked for it in an Individual color request thread almost two years ago. Unfortunately BMW never even released the paint for any production - it was a test color for the Z3 that they killed because of problems with the paint. The interior color they called Kyalami was much darker and more orange than the Kyalami they showed at a car show before the Z3 came out: That said - your car is gorgeous in Dakar. It's a shame BMW won't play ball on Kyalami, but it's definitely understandable. I wish they'd bring back Estoril... |

Very sick, I'm pretty sure I saw you headed southbound on I5 a few weeks ago. I'm from Eugene and I was headed to Portland, I saw your car from about a mile away. The color is clean, crisp, not overstated or "look-at-me", but still very unique. Bravo on the mods and such!
*edit* You must've worked with Pete Perez at Rasmussen, no? He's a great guy to work with, very amicable and helpful. He must've reinstalled the Dinan software about a hundred times on my car after the whole 29.2 debacle.

That Dakar Yellow looks STUNNING
With the black lip/wheels, it looks even better. Congrats! Gorgeous car.
