Attn: Dad's what do you use to protect little feet from seat backs?
I've seen the generic stuff at Target/Walmart but is there anything nice E90 M3 owners have that can hang over the passenger rear seatbacks to protect it from little feet and shoes?
I'm thinking something in nice black fabric to blend in and maybe have a few handy pockets for storing kids essentials?

How about some old socks on their shoes?

It's a car. They're your kids. Don't ever let them think you've got your priorities backwards.
I do have strict rules about food and drink in my car (none) and about door opening, but otherwise I do my best to let the rugrats enjoy being in my car as much as I do.

Folks may have noticed the novillo is pretty delicate, scuff marks will NOT be removed (and neither will tears) with a wipe down, so dream on. There are back seat covers that are quite good as well, I use one for my german shepherd for vet vists, etc. There must be one for kids or other ways to protect the leather.

OP, to protect the seats from dents from strapping the carseats in, I did buy a couple cheap, simple black seat covers from a car parts store.
I assume this isn't what you're looking for: http://www.wetokole.com/

Or get a junker for kid transport. Then they can throw up in it or whatver. Just hose it out.

OP, I have bought seat protectors that you put on the front seats that do a great job of protecting but they are pretty noticeable. I wound up taking them off and just wiping down the back during my weekly wash and haven't had any issues. This is even in winter with snow boots on. Nothing better than taking your kids for a spin with a little rally driving in the parking lot.

I'm on the other side of this now (at this point, more exposed to the risk of the kids doing exterior damage than interior damage). There is a certain amount of interior damage that small children will inevitably cause. My strategy was to replace the damaged parts once they grew out of it. Costs less than you think, and much better than grumping on your kids for just being kids. "No food" rules are fine until you are stuck in rush hour traffic with two little kids having absolute screaming blood sugar meltdowns that you could fix by passing back a few mini-pretzels (two of which will inevitably get drool-soggy and spit out somewhere in the back seat). Car trips are stressful enough with toddlers as it is. Replacement parts are only money, after all.
YMMV. |

No, I understood, but if feet can reach the seat back, I figured they could also reach the seat. I guess in a car seat, they're higher off the seat.
