Remus Race vs Borla

I have pretty much narrowed down my decision for an exhaust to the Remus Race or the newly announced Borla.

Both are about the same $ and are very reasonably priced compared to the other alternatives. Seems that plenty of people like the Remus and I've only seen one post where an individual was unhappy with it...I believe it was too loud for their taste.

Don't know anything yet on the newly announced Borla other than what's been posted recently; however, I have owned a Borla on my old E36 M3 and loved it....great quality and value. I also like the fact that you do not have to hack at the stock exhaust and simply bolt it on. I am however nervous to be one of the first to try it out. Also not sure if it's going to be loud enough or what the hp gains will be.

With regards to appearance, I believe I'm leaning towards the Remus.

Just curious what others think.

Hey,

I see you are in Texas, there are many REMUS race owners and satisfied REMUSshop customers that have given a few rides to members of m3post.com with the REMUS race.

I'm sure they could help you out:

I just ordered the Borla and it should be here next week. Not waiting any longer for the Remus.

Too bad, I would have sold you mine. I´ve had both the Remus Sport and Race in my car and loved them both. Only issue is the drone when windows are closed etc... but when rolled down, WOW!!! I´m changing the Race only because I bought a stroker conversion that includes headers, downpipes and exhaust, so I thought I wouldn´t screw with that one.

I too had narrowed it down to these two choices. But since the Borla is bolt-on AND slightly cheaper I've pretty much decided on the Borla. Now if only somebody would post a sound clip of the Borla from outside the car I will probably pull the trigger.
