SmartView and Non Samsung Android Phones

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there us using SmartView with a nonSamsung Android phones?

This looks very promising for mirroring however Bimmertech can't confirm it will work since it's based on Miracast which I assume is some Samsung tech. Don't want to drop that much if it won't work.

Side note it will work with both CCC and CIC from what I've read.

Forget the post, verified all HTC phones that support HTC Connect are MiraCast.

Seriously thinking of getting this now...
