I have had that rear spoiler installed and it looks perfect! Not too tall and doesn't stick out like an afterthought certainly. You also can't beat factory quality!

I'd love to see this package tested in a wind tunnel and compared to the results of a stock M3 package (which we already have)...
Aesthitically I can't say I prefer the looks over the stock setup... |

Does anyone know if the splitters are a 1x1 CF weave?
I'm thinking of getting these grills and eventually the splitters, they need to match! http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/p103...duct_info.html

Yes, the parts availability is old news, but the announcement is news.
Are there others who would have welcomed some quantitative data as to how the each of these parts contribute to performance improvement? BMW has had ample time to produce such info. Perhaps the Sport Auto staff will do us a favor by parking a BMW Performance Parts eqipped M3 in that air tunnel that they use so frequently. |

Couple of comments:
Weave is 2x2 not 1x1(Just installed these pieces on my car yesterday so this comment is based on experience) Parts are available through your dealer or for the best price - getbmwparts.com I'm really happy with my pieces - fits great and looks good! BC |

Dealer said specifically they're 1x1 to match the roof! Does the weave NOT match the roof?

You need to remove the existing spoiler.

Best part about it is these are actually carbon fiber. not like all the aftermarket crap which is just fiberglass with a cf piece wrapped over the top of it.

Of course, none of this may come to pass. Just look at what happened with the E92 LCI Blacklines -- BMW went so far as to include them in the 2010 BMW Performance catalog and on their parts website before canceling their development. Who knows if this thing will ever see the light of day...

You're thinking of the exhaust on the M3 GT2.
