Navigation DVD versions

stupid question by how do i know its a 2007 or a 2008.2 i just pick up my car this morning and it just came with a white bmw navi folder

Eject the DVD and look at it.

I think for the USA, 2008.1 is the current version. It has a white folder. Part number is 65 90 0 431 724

does anyone know what's the latest navi DVD rom update for the '08 iDrive? Is 01 2009 released yet? Anyone knows where to download the latest one?
