Michelin Pilot Super Sports (265/30/19 front, 295/30/19) The rear does currently rub under hard acceleration on this set-up. Some minor camber adjustment in the future should fix this. |

Yes, the rears did rub against the fenders under hard acceleration when my car was lowered 1.2" all around and rear camber was at its maximum for that particular height (-2.3 degrees or so). With regret I had the car raised up so that it was 1" lower than stock, and max camber there is about 2.2 degrees presently. It appears that I can reduce the camber some and still avoid rubbing; thus mitigating thread wear and improving straight-line traction. Ride comfort is marginally better. And I no longer scrape my car going up and down curbs.

Previously, I had Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 in the same sizes as the Michelin PSS, as well as EDC functionality. I'd say that my current ride is comparable to my previous setup in normal EDC mode - a bit firmer than comfort but less jarring than sport. I'm at the KW-recommended damper settings. |
