I had many fast cars before but this M3 is near perfect.
Just love to bring the rpm needle to 8,400
What a sound!

Your friend sounds like myself, only thing is that the reason I am bored with the M3 is actually cause it does everything so effortlessly. The car handles great, superb power, and rides fairly comfortable even with my KW club sports which are known to ride like crap.

I came from two S2000's and I can honestly say I miss working the car. It feels so much more satisfying. Where as the M3 kind of just... does it.

Hope you get what I'm saying. Difficult to explain, but in the end, you can't go wrong with any E9X M3.

J2m - I see you have the ESS package - that thing must rip!
In our household we have had 3 SG (2 E93 & my E92 M3) and no regrets about that colour.Almost zero maintenence.

Space Gey always looks great, so does AW. I am going to miss the effortless work involved in having the car look nice and clean without swirl marks etc. My new car is Jerez Black Metallic lol....going to be a slight headache.

Is the 4 years combined ownership of the 2 E93 M3's you owned.......so when you say "it" do you mean "them"......

Yea Technically your right. I never should have sold me first one.

You live and you learn!

get a beater for a few grand and that'll make you appreciate the M3 even more whenever you DO drive it. I'm planning to do the same. I understand what you mean, it could get boring if you drive the M3 everyday. Once you're used to the power, you take it for granted and forget that everything else on the road are no where near as powerful or performs anything like it. I want to keep that grin and excitement on my face like the first day, and driving a beater would help me keep those feelings for the M3 for a bit longer in my opinion
