Week 17 Production arrives in May???

My car also got pushed back due to the DKG.

My dealer told me that the car will be here in early May? Is that possible if the car is week 17 production?

When do you guys think it would get to the west coast?

what's dkg?

let's say week 10 is first week of march, then week 14 is first of april, and 18 is first week of May. so it's probably a stretch, maybe end of 2nd week of May to east coast. west coast, probably not in May.

DKG = DTC

DKG is the German term.

But yea if its week 17 build getting one in may is slim...

I'm scheduled for Week 17 and scheduling for PCD pickup at Spartanburg SC betwen 7-14May2008.

I hope it works out for me because I'm currently deployed oversea.

So you were also told in may be the dealer or did u make your own assumptions?

I have a feeling we will be looking at early to mid july?

My SA just emailed me providing me the production number and production week. I told her to try to push my production date earlier to meet a 7-14May2008 delivery to the PCD at Spartanburg SC. I dont think 3 weeks will be enough time for delivery to the East coast for a May delivery.

Week 17 is the week of April 20. If it completes by, say 4/26, figure about 35 days to WC port. Then 4-7 days to your dealer. Not going to make it until beginning of June would be my informed guess.

Late May, perhaps. East coast shipping is almost 2 weeks quicker than West coast. PC delivery may add a little time because they have to schedule you in, and they're not taking April deliveries.

Me too my dealer said I am tentative 19 May 2008 production date that means week 19 if you are correct. Delivery for me is 30 June though estimated. I am taking a PDC delivery also.

you might want to add a week or two. cars have been taking some extra time to get to port and get loaded on a ship.

Don't know if that's true. Took 10 days to ship out for both my '01 and '08.
