The Strasse Forged Experience
Well before I get to the pics i wanted to share my experience with Rob and StrasseForged as a company.
I originally contacted Rob about a set of 20" R10's for my e92 M3 after seeing them posted on here. I went back and forth for at least a month or two debating what wheels I was going to purchas (HRE,ADV1, etc). During that time Rob was more than willing to answer any and all of my questions which was one of the deciding factors when I chose StrasseForged R10's. My order was placed on 12-21-11 and I received the wheels in my hands on 1-19-12 approx. one month after I placed my order. I thought that was a fantastic turn around for a set of custom wheels that are made to my exact preferences especially during the holiday season. These wheels look absolutely amazing to me and the many people that i receive compliments from. Thanks again to Rob and StrasseForged for the excellent customer service and an amazing set of wheels. |

Okay...my flame suit is on.....
Is there anyone else that feels that spending a lot of money on black wheels is a bit of a waste. You can't really ever fully appreciate the design of a nice wheel in black. They look, well.....black. Silver, brushed, brush tinted, gunmetal, gray, titanium, gold, white.....whatever.... except black. The one way to do black wheels is to get a big ass BBK with silver calipers. In this way the wheel may stand out against the big disc and silver caliper. The other exception is if you are going for the all black murdered look. Just my $0.02.

Black wheels arent for everyone but in my opinion make a car look more aggresive so for me it was worth it. For instance black oem comeption wheels make the M3 look more aggressive compared to the silver and that is why I beleive that black wheels are being used more and more by car manufacturers on performance oriented models.

Thanks Jimmy. Your car isnt looking to shabby either. Congrats on your new ride and fresh mods. Thanks man. Thank you. I love your car and it actually had me on the fence about getting a set of GTS wheels. You have no idea how many times i went back to your thread and looked at pics of your gorgeous M3. |
