Passenger side vent doesn't move?
This might be an anomaly in my e92, but the passenger-side air vent has no silver tab on it for adjustment, no do the slats move at all. Everything works great, but the airflow from this vent cannot be directed.
Is it just mine, or is this typical?

They break really easily and jut fall off. Funny thing is to buy an oem one you have to replace the vent. Thankfully you can buy aftermarket ones that look identical and clip right in.

I wish this post would have been around when I bought my car. One of the center vents was missing the tab, so I purchased a new vent. When I went to install the new vent, I broke the passenger tab removing the trim and had to replace that vent. A few months later I managed to break the driver side tab and thus replaced that vent as well. This would have been MUCH more economical.

Turns out that on closer inspection tonight, the lever that actually moves the louvers was stuck in between a couple of them, making it impossible to move. The plastic tab with chrome-like edges has gone missing. At least the mystery is solved!
