Shit, it took me 6 months to find my 335. I was pretty particular, and passed on several cars that were "almost" what I wanted. In the end im very happy I held out and got pretty much the exact car I wanted, with the exception of the interior trim, but I figure that's easy enough to swap out.

The dct talk reminds me of this vid for the 1M:
Thought it was pretty funny how the guy hates on all the fancy names people call an automatic trans these days.

There was just talk last night about it because Rob came in the X5M which has the 8spd Auto. So we were talking about if we knew or not if the M5/M6 would have that trans or the real DCT. WE thought maybe because of weight the DCT wouldn't work.

You're right sir. Damn your car is hefty!
Your car is about 4150 M5 is about 4250 And the X5M is 5082 SO I guess either the DCT didnt fit under the X5M/X6M or if cant handle the extra 800 lbs combined with all that extra power and torque. Added weight plus added power/torque could be the reason. And the M5/M6 will have more power/torque, so we were not sure. D |

Damn, after talking about various Hondas last night, I made my way over to S2ki (haven't been there in at least a year) to see what was new, and I fell in love with that car again.
The saying is true, I guess... the grass is always greener on the other side But still... Last edited by WesleyC; 06-30-2011 at 03:41 PM.. |

LOL, SEAN, your always asking who the model is. Sometimes people just find a picture and there is a model in it. WE dont always know who the girl is!

If I see a sexy girl at the bar, and I don't ask her, 100% I won't be able to talk/hook up/etc. But, if you ask, it's a 50/50 chance. She's either down or not down. It's this way with almost anything...

Yea, they do. I've always been a fan, but when it came to getting a car, I thought that the 335i would be an all around better choice. It is, if you think about it... It's faster (in a straight line, at least), more comfortable, more technology, but something about the S2000 just does it for me.
Wish I could have both cars. |
