219m rear wheels in the front
would this work with 285s in the front? and 285s in the rear? would it make the front wheels stick out more then the rears? thanks

With all due respect Bob MG (and I do mean with all due respect as you are my hero in life!) the OP is talking about 18" wheels. I too am curious as to how the 219 rears work in the front on 285/35's??? I just wanna be square!

I use square OEM rears for the track. The fronts stick out more so you'll need a spacer in the rear to even it out. 285s should work with some additional camber...as long as you don't have strut clearance issues.
I have 275s with no issues. May have to go with 285/30R18s.

You have to go with 265/35R18s. The OEM rear tire size is too big. Why not just go with 275 all the way around?

275s all around sounds good. 275/40 or 275/35? and what size or brand spacer in the rear would be good?
