One of the reasons I am buying new...I was considering a slightly used M5, but with no CPO, that tells me they have no faith in the car, so screw that.

I am actually considering canceling my order for a few reasons.....

Probably because:
a) they cost to much to put 100k warranty on
b) they cost to much to prep for CPO to begin with

Think about the way people drive M cars. It can't be cheap to make certain that a used M is ready to go for a new owner, and then keep it that way.

based on the volume here and the fact that the c63 and rs4 will come cpo'd bmw will have to change this policy. i can see why they would not cpo a v10 but the m3 will be cpo'd at some point this year.

I was told by several dealerships that you can purchase an extended maint. warranty for about $2130.00. I then asked them wil the cars be CPO'd and the answer was "it depends on the miles, condition, and whether BMWNA will allow the car to pass" it is based on an individual car basis and dealer. So I figure that yes there will be on this M.
