That's my only complaint, I wish the door panels were still in leather. Otherwise, its looks phenominal. Its not like BMW leather is something to write home about anyways.

I thought I'd add my cloth/leather pics as well
On thing's for sure: They look good in the pics, but 10x better in person. Several local M3 guys have been extremely impressed when they saw my seats in person.

Rolling The Dice!
Well, I did it. Ordered both MR & the speed cloth sight unseen. I hope everybody's pics are accurate, 'cause speed cloth looks pretty good in all the photos.

That was my original choice before I saw MR at the dealership. The moment I saw MR in person, I was hooked fo sho! It was time to order so w/o seeing speed cloth, I didn't wanna take a gamble. Also, I wanted some of the options that were in the premium package that wasn't available individually. I Iike speed cloth alot after seeing Nawaaz's M3 in person, only thing I didn't like (which an upholstery shop can do now that I think about it) are the inserts in the door panels. I'd change that to matching leather or suede/alcantara inserts along w/the ceiling/roof lining.

The speed cloth is a much more athletic and sporty choice. I think it matches the M3's personality perfectly. Wish you all the best with your new ordered M3! |

I think speed cloth actually looks better/more unique than leather in many ways. Also I bet it grips you to your seat better. Hows the wear on the cloth?

Speed Cloth/Leather
Wear on most Euro cloth fabrics is very good. They are also cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold. I might have gotten it, but with a white car I wanted some color.

I'd like to see the cloth parts recovered in some kind of plaid material a-la VW GTI/GLI seats. I think it would be a really cool "oldschool euro" touch.

Finally Got the Car, Kinda
Just got back from the Welt in Munich. I picked up my new MR M3 coupe with speed cloth. I really like it! Everyone was right. I think it looks really good. It's comfortable and not slippery at all. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay in Germany and had to give the car right back. But getting to put 11 miles on it is better than no miles. I can't wait 'til it gets home!

Wow, SC looks a lot better in y'all's pics opposed to what I've seen on bmw's site. I'm not sure if my opinion is completely swayed, but it does look pretty nice.

I really like the speed cloth seats but also perffered leather on the doors, also loved the unique fox red interior. Maybe I'll have my front seats recovered in alcantara or suede when the leather is too worn, oh well.
